Anime Expo 2011!
Oh boy, the things a hard deadline will do to you...
With AX coming up and all my cosplays left up north, I decided to take the wild gamble of creating a new, fully armored, more challenging (than Hakumen imo), cosplay to make.... in two weeks.
That was fun.
General stuff. Rockman Zero designed is based off a new redesign from the recent soundtrack Mythos-- which is pretty slick imo. Being a big fan of the Mega Man series, I saw this new redesign and thought to myself: I've seen several fanart of this, but how about cosplay? xD
Perhaps I'm the first?

Cosplay details. This is made largely via craft foam and cardboard-- with some new lessons in plexiglass for the sword and crystal. It was incredibly challenging to compress this into two weeks (considering my previous costume took me... 3 months), but I'm happy with the finished results and plan to add a bit more fore future conventions.
On the plus side, this has remarkably improved my armor making skills. My fabric/sewing skills on the other hand.... no comment. <_<
If anyone saw me at AX, feel free to say hi. AX itself was very enjoyable and it was a lot of fun meeting other cosplayers-- particularly in this costume-- although the Mega Man series in general is underrepresented in terms of cosplay.
As always, comments and critiques are appreciated.
