My 100th deviation. A milestone? :D

Original Mega Man figurine can be seen here: [link] . In retrospect, that figurine's legs were too stubby. Might revisit.

Here are all the robot masters-- and other characters.

Each figure was sculpted with white Sculpey, painted, and glossed. Each took several hours and the entire thing took at least a month or two. All these robots were made proportionally to each other pixel by pixel. Because Mega Man is simple in design, he's dwarfed by a lot of these other robot masters-- especially the more elaborate MM6 ones. Also, Rush is huge.

And of course, the designs were inspired by the retro NES sprites-- which I thought makes for excellent translation to simple yet cool miniature figurines.

The image itself is a collection of photos pieced together to create this entire frame. I wanted to capture the detail of every single figurine so I had to take macro shots for each one. There are some weird artifacts with not lining up images properly, but it'll have to do.

All these figures do sit comfortably in my room with that nice wooden case to display them all. And yes, the frame itself is designed to look like the classic robot scrolling intro-- except now stuffed to the brim with robot masters.

Lastly, I do realize that there is a new set of MM9 and MM10 robot masters-- so maybe I'll do them too? My only regret is I didn't submit this in time for that Mega Man Tribute way back. >.<

In any case, enjoy. Fullview for better detail. Comments and Critiques are appreciated!
