Blazblue- Field of Swords

Originally, this piece was going to be called "Two Wolves"... but then I added a cat (Jubei), and then I added a man (Bloodedge). By that point, the title "Two Wolves, a Cat, and a Man" no longer sounded as catchy.

That said, new Blazblue fanart-- inspired my recent playthrough of Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend and wanting to draw various members of Six Heroes arguably in their prime. Valkenhayn and Hakumen are badass heroes and fittingly carry the wolf motif. Jubei is a badass samurai cat, and Ragna... he's there for certain reasons. This idea is also inspired by various official art of the Six Heroes in a a field of swords.

At the moment this is lineart only, but I fully intend to color this-- in due time. I've already backlogged a sizeable selection of drawings to color, and I really need to speed up my coloring. Jubei's samurai armor design was heavily improvised-- because there is little reference material to use. When I do color it, I think I'll try a monochromatic sepia color scheme; we'll see.
